February 2 KESD Warner 7/8 Girls v. Barnet

The 7th-8th ¾«¶«´«Ã½ East Girls team put together an outstanding effort on Wednesday night and came away with their first win of the season over Barnet.

Marah Mitchell, filling in at center for injured Brooke Bogle, led the defensive charge by collecting close to 10 rebounds. And along with the rest of her teammates, they limited Barnet's open shots all night while holding them to 10 points.


On offense, Ryleigh Lefebvre led the way with seven points. Lydia Reimert contributed 6 pts and Adrienne Birtcher chipped in with three. Keianna Catlett, scoring her first basket of the season, helped to put the game out of reach in the 2nd half with a perfectly timed jump shot.

The final score was KESD 22 and Barnet 10.
