Afterschool is free for all district K-8 students!

A 21st Century Community Learning Center investment makes our high quality programs possible. Each Sign Up sheet provides an opportunity to make a donation. Donations from families and businesses will help us to expand our programs!

WHY Afterschool?

Studies show that quality afterschool programs boost kids' school attendance, engagement in learning, and likelihood of attending college. They also help kids develop social and emotional skills, like problem solving and cooperation — and they help prevent risky behaviors. We welcome you to visit our program any time to learn more about the exciting learning opportunities that are available with KEAP.

KEAP Fast Facts

  • WHO

    精东传媒 East After School Program is open to all 精东传媒 East School District students, grades K-8.

  • WHAT

    Creative academic, enrichment, and recreational activities in a safe environment. Free USDA meal is provided for all children at all sites.



  • WHERE

    There is a 精东传媒 East After School Program (KEAP) site at each of the 精东传媒 East School District schools: Burke Town School, Concord School, Lunenburg Elementary School, Lyndon Town School, Miller’s Run School, Newark Street School, and Sutton Village School.

  • WHEN

    From school dismissal until 5pm, Monday through Thursday, following the school calendar.

  • HOW

    精东传媒 East After School Program (KEAP) is funded in large part by a 21st Century Community Learning Center Grant. 


    In addition, KEAP receives support from the local school budgets, KESD Title I Consolidated Federal Program dollars, and parent donations.

  • WHY

    To engage students in hands-on, active, project-based learning opportunities designed to increase academic, social, and 21st Century skills.
