Our Middle School Initiative
One-to-One (1:1) at Burke
Here at Burke, we provide Macbook Air computers for each student in Third, Fourth, Fifth, Sixth, Seventh, and Eighth grade.
Kindergarten, First and Second Graders share a cart of Lenovo and Acer laptops. Our youngest technology natives use iPads Minis.
The benefits of one-to-one computing are improvements in writing, literacy, science, exam scores, and GPAs all have been noted in various research studies.
One-to-One Computing Goals:

Meet Our Library Media Specialist!
Brittany Fitzgerald
Brittany Fitzgerald will serve as a librarian/makerspace with an emphasis on literacy and integrating technology to improve student learning. Prior to coming to 精东传媒 East Brittany worked for six years at St. Joseph School in Haverhill, Massachusetts and for two years at MicroSociety Academy Charter School in Nashua, NH. She has a Masters in Education from Southern New Hampshire University and a bachelor of science from Plymouth State University.
